NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING
SEMAN PERÚ SAC has a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) workshop capable of inspecting aeronautical parts and components, including the main structural elements. Our repair station has qualified and certified personnel with type II and type III, in accordance with the practices recommended in international standards SNT-TC-1A, NAS 410 and EN 4179.
Methods
- Inspection by the Penetrating Liquids method (Level I and Level II, methods A, C and D).
- Inspection by the Magnetic Particle method (Stationary, HWDC, FWDC and portable).
- Inspection by the Eddy Current method (HFEC, MFEC and LFEC).
- Inspection by the Ultrasound method (Longitudinal, transverse and surface waves, thickness measurement, detection of delaminations and Phase Array).
- Inspección por el método Radiográfico (Rayos X).
CHEMICAL LAB
The Chemical Laboratory has cutting-edge equipment and trained personnel to perform all types of tests for quality determination, identification of chemical elements and compounds; according to ASTM, GLP and ISO standards.
Chemical Laboratory services include:
- Spectrometric analysis of oils
- Spectrometric analysis of galvanic solutions.
- Physical and chemical analysis of fuel and hydraulic fluids (synthetic and mineral)
- Hyd-Skydrol Fluid Analysis NAS Method

METALURGIC LABORATORY
The Metallurgical Laboratory of SEMAN PERÚ SAC has qualified personnel and equipment to determine the type of conformation and type of heat treatment, quality and degree of aging of the materials, as well as determine the material for the manufacture of parts and the base material and contribution for welding, according to international standards and ASTM Technical Standards; AWS, ISO, AISI.
Metallurgical Laboratory services include:
- Tests to determine the chemical composition of the elements that make up the alloys, carry out the traceability of materials for the manufacture of components and parts, according to international standards.
- Quantitative chemical analysis, as quality control in the traceability of the material that is purchased abroad to be installed in aircraft.
- Tensile, compression and bending tests on different aeronautical materials for quality control of mechanical properties.
- Creep tests on specimens of the different chromium, nickel and cadmium coatings, for the qualification and certification of the different galvanic processes.
- Metallographic analyzes to determine the microstructural state, both qualitative and quantitative, as well as the quality and degree of aging of the materials of the parts, aircraft components, engines and accessories.
- Salt spray corrosion tests to determine the quality of anticorrosive coatings.
- Material failure analysis.
COMPOSITE MATERIAL
SEMAN PERÚ SAC expands its maintenance capabilities by implementing the Composite Material Workshop, where the repair/alteration of moving surfaces whose composition is made of composite materials is carried out, as well as the gluing of aircraft structures, in accordance with national and international regulations. international parts 145 and 14 CFR parts 121, and 135; 121,379, and 135,437. Our MRO works in coordination with the aircraft manufacturer (OEM) and the Aeronautical Authority of the different countries.
WEIGHT AND BALANCE
SEMAN PERÚ SAC has a Weight and Balance Workshop to carry out the weight, balance and symmetry of the aircraft that are processed in the OMA hangars. Likewise, it has current equipment and manuals.
